Pricing generally falls between $20 and $75+ per linear foot, depending on material, property terrain, and total footage. Chain link tends to be the most budget-friendly option, while cedar privacy and ornamental metal run higher due to material and labor. Every property is different, so we walk your site in person before giving you a firm number.

That’s normal, and it’s actually most of our estimate visits. We’ll talk through your goals – privacy, security, keeping animals contained, boosting curb appeal – and help you land on the right material and style for your property and budget. 

It depends on the city and county. Requirements differ across Kaufman, Rockwall & Van Zandt Counties, and some neighborhoods also have HOA rules about height, material, or placement. We’ll help you sort out what applies to your specific property before work begins. 

Most residential jobs wrap up in 1–3 days depending on fence length, ground conditions, and material. Larger rural or acreage properties in Kaufman and Rockwall Counties can take a bit longer – we’ll walk you through a realistic timeline during your estimate. 

Our region’s expansive clay soil shifts with moisture changes, which can cause posts to lean or heave over time if they aren’t set deep enough or with the right concrete footing. We account for local soil behavior on every job so your fence stays straight for years, not just the first season. 

Solid wood, chain link, and ornamental steel or aluminum all perform well here when installed correctly. UV exposure and heat matter more for wood, so proper sealing and quality lumber selection go a long way. We’ll point you toward what fits your climate exposure and maintenance preferences. 

Our calendar fills up fast, especially in spring and early summer when everyone in the greater Dallas area is tackling outdoor projects at once. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility you’ll have on install dates. 

1. Book your free estimate – call or request one online, and we’ll set a time to walk your property. 

2. On-site walkthrough – we’ll measure, discuss layout and material options, and answer questions in person. 

3. Written proposal – you’ll receive a detailed proposal within a couple of business days, which you can review and sign digitally. 

4. Deposit and scheduling – once signed, we collect a deposit and

lock in your install date. 

5. Utility locate – before any digging, we contact 811 to have underground utility lines marked. 

6. Installation – our crew handles the project start to finish on your scheduled date. 

7. Final walkthrough – we follow up once work is complete to make sure everything meets expectations before final invoicing.
